This error appears when one or more of a product’s prices — including individual variation prices — fall below Etsy’s minimum allowed price.
Error Key: PriceTooLow
Etsy’s Price Floor #
Etsy requires all listing prices to be at least 0.20 USD (or the equivalent amount in your shop’s local currency). This minimum applies to every price in the listing, including the prices of individual variations. Etsy enforces this floor to prevent free or near-free listings that could be used for non-commerce purposes.
Why This Happens #
- A variation price is set to zero or left blank (which may default to 0)
- A price was entered in a different currency and the conversion result falls below 0.20 USD
- A discount or adjustment in the app reduced the price below the minimum
- The product’s base price is valid but a specific variation has no price override, leaving it at zero
How to Fix It #
- Open the affected product in the Etsy Integration – DPL app.
- Review all prices, including individual variation prices — do not only check the base price.
- Set every price to at least 0.20 USD (or your currency’s equivalent). If you are unsure of the equivalent, check the current exchange rate.
- Save and retry the upload.
Tip: If you are selling very low-cost items (such as digital downloads or samples), consider bundling them to keep individual listing prices above the minimum, or adjust your pricing strategy to meet Etsy’s requirements.
