Your Shopify and Etsy products can appear in different sections on the Etsy Products page of our DPL Etsy integration app, depending on how they are connected. The Linked SKU and Linked Product sections help you identify the type of connection between your Shopify and Etsy products.
These sections make it easier to understand which products are fully linked and which products are connected primarily through matching SKUs.
1. Linked SKU #
The Linked SKU section contains products that are connected between Shopify and Etsy based on their matching SKUs. These products may not have an identical product structure on both platforms, but the matching SKU allows the app to connect them.

For products listed under Linked SKU, the matching SKU is used to synchronize orders and inventory between the connected Shopify and Etsy products.
Important Note: Only orders and inventory will be synced based on the matching SKUs.
2. Linked Product #
The Linked Product section contains products that are fully connected between Shopify and Etsy. This means the product and its corresponding information are matched between the two platforms according to the product-linking rules.

Products in this section can be managed according to your configured sync and overwrite settings. When overwrite settings are enabled, changes made in Shopify can be reflected on Etsy.
Important Note: If overwrite settings are enabled for linked products, any changes made in Shopify will also appear on Etsy.
For the specific rules used to determine whether a product is automatically linked as a Linked Product or Linked SKU, see Automatic Product Linking.
