CJ Affiliate Integration Privacy policy
CJ Affiliate Integration app developed by Digital product labs Inc. MuniBhairab Marg, 44600 Kathmandu, Nepal respects the privacy of its clients. This privacy policy describes our policies and procedure on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use the services and inform you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
We use your personal data to provide and improve the service. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this privacy policy.
What information do we collect?
When you install the App, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, we will be able to access your data from your Shopify account and collect your products information from your store to create the Feed. The API used to collect the data are as follow:
STORE API: Store API collects the data of your store information like Name, Address, Currency etc.
PRODUCT API: Product API collects the product information like image, title, meta tags, SKUs, Variations and stock information
Custom and Smart Collection: We collect the product collections from your store which will be used to match with the CJ Affiliate Collections
The information collected using third-party technology and applications such as web beacons may not be personally identifiable so that data is not included when referring to personal information however, we will accept and rely on their compliance with the GDPR.
How do we use your personal information?
We use your information that we collect generally to provide Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this order information to:
● Generate Feed after syncing in our cloud
● Communicate with you
● Look out for frauds and supports you on proceeding feed
● Send you relevant advertising and business promotions, adhering to your preferences.
● Qualify users of our app to provide support and product updates.
● Optimize or improve our app and services
We use the device information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (IP address, mistaken login access details), and more generally to improve and optimize our site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns). The information is collected by using third-party software and web beacons that comply with the GDPR’s privacy by design.
Sharing your personal information
We share your personal information with third parties to help us use your personal information, as described above. Please understand that your personal data may be shared with different countries and continents across the globe on a per requirement basis.
We use Hotjar and similar visitor tracking software to collect your activity on our app. These assist us by providing data for a better end-user experience as well as assist us in diagnosing technical problems and helps to analyze user trends. We may use third-party applications to occasionally communicate with you through emails. For this, we will need to share your data with the email service providers such as Mailchimp, active campaigns. However, we respect your rights by providing a link to unsubscribe through these informational or marketing emails.
Transfer of your data as our main service
When you are using our app, we share your product information as the main service that we provide to you. The sharing is only done after you initiate sharing your product information to CJ Affiliate network. Our app generates the XML product feed as per the category mapping you perform. Then, when you upload that feed in your CJ Affiliate Network, your product information will be shared to the CJ Affiliate Network.
When you are using our services to send your product data to CJ Affiliate, your data from Shopify is transferred to our cloud system using secure HTTPS and TLS v1.2. While using our cloud service, you can download your product data and feed from our cloud service as per the data portability for GDPR compliance. And you can also request us to delete your business data to execute your right to be forgotten.
Finally, we may share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, search warrants, or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Behavioral advertising
As described above, we use your personal information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. The choice to opt-in / opt-out
We want our information to reach those who really care about it. In case you don’t want to receive any kind of information from us, you can always reach out to us at hello@dpl.company and inform us that you don’t want to receive any information from us and we would stop communicating with you. Also, you can inform us if you no longer want to use our services. At any time, you can opt-out of our services by removing the software or app and can also delete or change any information which you have provided earlier.

At any time when you want changes in your information we have gathered, you could mail us at hello@dpl.company.
Retention & Security of information
When you place an order through the site, we will maintain your order information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Similarly, if you use our cloud service to connect your e-commerce store, we will also retain your business information till the time we find it appropriate to delete or you explicitly request us to delete the data. As per the data collected through third-party sites, we will adhere to the GDPR compliance as per the terms and policies followed by those third parties. Digital product labs are encrypted with industry-standard secure socket layer (SSL) connections to help protect user information from interception.
