CJ Affiliate Integration app developed by Digital Product Labs Inc. MuniBhairab Marg, 44600 Kathmandu, Nepal respects the privacy of its clients. This privacy policy describes our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use the services and informs you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
We use your personal data to provide and improve the service. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this privacy policy.
What information do we collect?
When you install the App, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. Additionally, we will be able to access your data from your Shopify account and collect your product information from your store to create the Feed. The API used to collect the data is as follows:
STORE API: Store API collects the data of your store information like Name, Address, Currency, etc.
PRODUCT API: Product API collects product information like image, title, meta tags, SKUs, Variations, and stock information
Custom and Smart Collection: We collect the product collections from your store, which will be used to match with the CJ Affiliate Collections
Information collected using third-party technology and applications such as web beacons may not be personally identifiable, so data is not included when referring to personal information. However, we will accept and rely on their compliance with the GDPR.
How do we use your personal information?
We generally use the information that we collect to provide service and operate the app. Additionally, we use this order information to:
- Generate Feed after syncing in our cloud
- Communicate with you
- Look out for frauds and supports you in proceeding feed
- Send you relevant advertising and business promotions, adhering to your preferences.
- Qualify users of our app to provide support and product updates.
- Optimize or improve our app and services
We use the device information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (IP address, mistaken login access details) and, more generally, to improve and optimize our site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns). The information is collected by using third-party software and web beacons that comply with the GDPR’s privacy by design.
Sharing your personal information
We share your personal information with third parties to help us use your personal information, as described above. Please understand that your personal data may be shared with different countries and continents across the globe on a per-requirement basis.
We use Hotjar and similar visitor tracking software to collect your activity on our app. These assist us by providing data for a better end-user experience, diagnosing technical problems, and analyzing user trends. We use the Zopim app from Zendesk for live chat with you regarding the app process and features. We collect your personal details, such as your email and ID, for tracking. For the policy and data used by Zopim, check out https://www.zendesk.com/company/customers-partners/privacy-policy/
We may occasionally use third-party applications to communicate with you via email. For this, we will need to share your data with email service providers such as Mailchimp and Active Campaigns. However, we respect your rights by providing a link to unsubscribe through these informational or marketing emails.
Transfer of your data as our main service
When you use our app, we share your product information as the main service we provide. This is only done after you initiate sharing your product information with the CJ Affiliate network. Our app generates the XML product feed according to the category mapping you perform. Then, when you upload that feed to your CJ Affiliate Network, your product information will be shared with the CJ Affiliate Network.
When you use our services to send your product data to CJ Affiliate, your data from Shopify is transferred to our cloud system using secure HTTPS and TLS v1.2. While using our cloud service, you can download your product data and feed as per the data portability for GDPR compliance. You can also request us to delete your business data to execute your right to be forgotten.
Finally, we may share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, search warrants, or other lawful requests for information we receive or to otherwise protect our rights.
Behavioral advertising
As described above, we use your personal information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. The choice to opt-in / opt-out
We want our information to reach those who really care about it. In case you don’t want to receive any information from us, you can always reach out to us at hello@dpl.company and inform us that you don’t want to receive any information from us, and we will stop communicating with you. Also, you can inform us if you no longer want to use our services. At any time, you can opt out of our services by removing the software or app and delete or change any information you provided earlier.

Retention & Security of information
When you place an order through the site, we will maintain your order information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Similarly, if you use our cloud service to connect your e-commerce store, we will also retain your business information till the time we find it appropriate to delete, it or you explicitly request us to delete the data. As per the data collected through third-party sites, we will adhere to GDPR compliance as per the terms and policies followed by those third parties. Digital product labs are encrypted with industry-standard secure socket layer (SSL) connections to help protect user information from interception.
