Etsy Integration ‑ DPL provides Shopify Etsy integration service to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
Personal Information the App Collects
When you install the App, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. Additionally, we can access your data from your Shopify account and collect your product information from your Etsy store to link it to your Shopify store.
The API used to collect the data are as follows:
STORE API: Store API collects the data of your store information like Name, Address, Currency, etc.
PRODUCT API: Product API creates product information like images, titles, meta tags, SKUs, Variations, stock information, etc.
The information collected using third-party technology and applications such as web beacons may not be personally identifiable, so data is not included when referring to personal information; however, we will accept and rely on their compliance with the GDPR.
The customer data from your store will be exclusively utilized to deliver our service and will not be traded or shared with third parties for other purposes.
Transfer of Your Data as Our Main Service
We share product information as our main service when you use our app. The sharing is only done after you initiate sharing your product information from Etsy to Shopify. Our app imports the Etsy products listing using Etsy listing API and generates the products into the Shopify store using Shopify product API.
When you use our services to send your product data from Etsy to Shopify, your data from Etsy is transferred to our cloud system using secure APIs provided by Etsy.
The customer data from your store will be exclusively utilized to deliver our service and will not be traded or shared with third parties for other purposes.
Use of Your Personal Data
We use the information we collect to provide Service and operate the App. Additionally, we use this information to
- Generate and link your Etsy products in Shopify.
- Communicate with you.
- Look out for frauds and supports you in proceeding with the Integration.
- Send you relevant advertising and business promotions, adhering to your preferences.
- Qualify users of our app to provide support and updates.
- Optimize and improve our app and services.
Disclosure of Your Personal Data
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, We may transfer your Personal Data. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
Law enforcement
Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Data if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

As described above, we use your personal information to provide targeted advertisements or marketing communications that may interest you.
