Digital product labs Inc. protects the privacy of its clients with the Faire Integration & Import software. This privacy policy describes our policies and procedure on collecting, using, and disclosing your information when you use the services and inform you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

We use your personal data to provide and improve the service. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this privacy policy. 

 

What information do we collect?

When you install the App, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, we will be able to access your data from your Shopify account and collect your product information from your store in order to verify data with the products we import.

The information collected using third-party technology and applications such as web beacons may not be personally identifiable so that data is not included when referring to personal information however, we will accept and rely on their compliance with the GDPR. 

 

How do we use your personal information?

We use the information that we collect generally to provide Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this order information to:

  • Import products and verify for duplication
  • Communicate with you
  • Look out for frauds and supports you in importing products
  • Send you relevant advertising and business promotions, adhering to your preferences.
  • Qualify users of our app to provide support and product updates.

We use the device information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (IP address, mistaken login access details), and more generally to improve and optimize our site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns). The information is collected by using third-party software and web beacons that comply with the GDPR’s privacy by design.

Sharing your personal information

We share your personal information with third parties to help us use your personal information, as described above. Please understand that your personal data may be shared with different countries and continents across the globe on a per-requirement basis.

We use Hotjar and similar visitor tracking software to collect your activity on our app. These assist us by providing data for a better end-user experience as well as assist us in diagnosing technical problems and helps to analyze user trends. If you do not want us to collect such information about you, please visit the Hotjar opt-out page: https://www.hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out or enable do not track (DNT) on your browser.

We use the Chat feature from Helpscout for live chat with you regarding the app process and features. We collect your personal details like email and ID for tracking. For the policy and data used by Zopim, check out at: https://www.helpscout.com/company/legal/privacy/

We may use third-party applications to occasionally communicate with you through emails. For this, we will need to share your data with the email service providers such as Mailchimp, and active campaigns. However, we respect your rights by providing a link to unsubscribe through these informational or marketing emails.

Behavioral advertising

The choice to opt-in / opt-out

We want our information to reach those who really care about it. In case you don’t want to receive any kind of information from us, you can always reach out to us at hello@dpl.company and inform us that you don’t want to receive information from us and we would stop communicating with you. Also, you can inform us if you no longer want to use our services. At any time, you can opt-out of our services by removing the software or app and can also delete or change any information which you have provided earlier.

Retention & Security of information

When you place an order through the site, we will maintain your order information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Similarly, if you use our cloud service to connect your e-commerce store, we will also retain your business information till the time we find it appropriate to delete or you explicitly request us to delete the data. As per the data collected through third-party sites, we will adhere to the GDPR compliance as per the terms and policies followed by those third parties.
